  3. Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Singapore. It is a Buddhist place of worship in Bishan which was founded in 1920. The temple is not that old compared to other temples in other countries. Each year, the monastery celebrates the Vesak Day. For believers, it is like the birthday of Buddha. There is no specific day to it but Vesak Day is usually observed during the second or third week of May.
