can anyone tell me - or better give me an example i have tried <ipicture>.saveasfile and can't work out the stream thing anyone got any clues
Hi GURUS, I'm trying after loading an image with OleLoadPictureFile, to save it on disk using IPicture::SaveAsFile. The save works, i have my BMP file but my problem is: that when i open it it seems that it lost some data ( it seem to be cut a little on the header !!!
The SaveAsFile() method saves to a stream, specifically some implementation of IStream. It does not save to a Byte array. If you want to do that you must implement IStream yourself and append the data from the IStream.Write() calls to a Byte array.

But the file created can't be read with any file read application. Can anyone show me a useful example? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
