Thailand's Major Distortion Unveils Epic Anthem 'Mountain Warrior' in a Sonic Triumph with SODEH Records!
This composition emerged as I ventured into uncharted territory within the realm of metal music. My initial intent was to channel the voice of Mother Nature herself, conveying the sensations one might experience in the heart of the natural world. To achieve this, I gravitated towards the enchanting Lydian riff mode, gracefully weaving it into the depths of a low B string. The result was a narrative instrumental piece.
I aimed to encapsulate a sensation akin to soaring through the skies, a feeling of strength without overpowering force, and a flexibility that retained its resilience. In essence, I sought to strike a harmonious balance.
My creative journey led me to envision a mankind dwelling in the heart of towering mountains, adorned in animal skins and wielding colossal axes. These individuals lived far removed from the familiar world we know, mastering their inner violence and wielding it with disciplined control. I conjured images of steadfast, cold-blooded warriors driven by a profound desire for a simple life and the protection of their homeland. In their hearts, they held a profound reverence for the essence of Mother Nature herself. Thus, I christened them "Mountain Warriors," destined to fiercely defend the sanctity of the natural world.
The essence of Mountain Warrior transcends the boundaries of mere language, originating from an ineffable source. It orbits around an unyielding fascination with life's most invaluable facets: the spectrum of pain, suffering, happiness, sadness, joy, hopelessness, stress, pressure, and love. In its core, it encapsulates the entirety of the human experience, distilled into a single word: "Life."
