So anon you quoting Bible and look how many men and women in the Bible forego family life to immerse themselves in the spiritual world. What does this teaches us? It teaches us that whether you chose to have a family or not has nothing to do with God. There will always be those wired to have a family and those who are not, and it is the spirit of God in everybody just the same. Having a child is a great experience, but even it is not the greatest experience a human being can have. The greatest experience a human being will ever have is to become one with God on the spiritual level, there is no earthly love from another human being or experience that will ever surpass that on the earth plane, and very very few will ever experience it. This is what Jesus' work was about, to show humans they can achieve oneness with God in one lifetime. We know this at the subconscious level, and we know we are not going to achieve it so we create families which is next best thing, though, not the best thing.
