Inbox may not replace Gmail, says GoogleNext: Google to create kid-friendly versions of company’s products
The Google Inbox team had recently participated in a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session t where they responded to many questions from users regarding the new product and future plans.
The company says it has no grand plans for Inbox, but they are sure that company might not replace Gmail when it comes to maintaining the default email experience when a user asked whether Inbox would be replacing Gmail in the future.
The company says Inbox is something new and hence they launched it as a separate product while adding more features to Inbox based on user feedback but said that it is users who can finally decide whether they need Inbox or Gmail.
