  1. Omo National Park
  2. Covering almost 4068 sq. miles, this park is not that easy to reach. It has been regarded as “Ethiopia’s most remote park.” It may not have the upgrade needed to support tourists, but Omo National Park is one of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites and among of the places to visit in Ethiopia. Fossils dating back to 195,000 years were found to be from one of the Homo sapiens that were dug up here. Many native groups and people fight to keep this place remote and untouched. It is a savannah that houses different types of giraffes, elephants, lions, and other animals as you may have seen in the “Lion King”.
