UBS to charge negative rates on holding above 250,000 Sfr, euros - memo

With interest rates at historic lows set to be in place 'for years to come', the banking system has to adapt... From July this year UBS deposit fees will be 0.75%pa for those holding over CHF/EUR 250,000.

To put that into perspective, that is CHF/EUR 625pm for every CHF/EUR 1,000,000 that you hold with them...

More banks will follow suit... watch this space...
