VIII. MAIN BODY:
The Second is the Best as considered by the Bible, while in this world, is different, the first was always given the emphasis, for to the world and in the world of marketing, there's a rule of first, which places greater emphasis on the first one which is always the best according to the world, but how about according to the Bible? That is how the world thinks, but let us think like the Bible, GOD's WORDS and not like the world.
Romans 12:2 (Amplified Bible)
12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
First is "protos" in Greek meaning before, beginning, best, chief, in the world, even the word "first" means best but the best is of the earth, while Second is "deuteros" in Greek meaning second, afterward, again, second. The second time GOD always reaches out to us to save us from sins we have first committed.
1. First Adam vs. Second Adam
1 Corinthians 15:47 (Amplified Bible)
15:47 The first man [was] from out of earth, made of dust (earthly-minded); the second Man [is] the Lord from out of heaven.
The first Adam was a sinner and fell, while the Second Adam saved us from sin.
1 Corinthians 15:45 (Amplified Bible)
15:45 Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life].
2. First blood of Abel vs. Second blood of JESUS
Matthew 23:35 (Amplified Bible)
23:35 So that upon your heads may come all the blood of the righteous (those who correspond to the divine standard of right) shed on earth, from the blood of the righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar [of burnt offering].
Hebrews 12:24 (Amplified Bible)
12:24 And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance].
The first blood of Abel cried out of vengeance, while the second blood of JESUS speaks of mercy.
3. First covenant vs. Second Covenant
Hebrews 8:7-13 (Amplified Bible)
8:7 For if that first covenant had been without defect, there would have been no room for another one or an attempt to institute another one.
8:8 However, He finds fault with them [showing its inadequacy] when He says, Behold, the days will come, says the Lord, when I will make and ratify a new covenant or agreement with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
8:9 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their forefathers on the day when I grasped them by the hand to help and relieve them and to lead them out from the land of Egypt, for they did not abide in My agreement with them, and so I withdrew My favor and disregarded them, says the Lord.
8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their minds, even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding, and engrave them upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
8:11 And it will nevermore be necessary for each one to teach his neighbor and his fellow citizen or each one his brother, saying, Know (perceive, have knowledge of, and get acquainted by experience with) the Lord, for all will know Me, from the smallest to the greatest of them.
8:12 For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.
8:13 When God speaks of a new [covenant or agreement], He makes the first one obsolete (out of use). And what is obsolete (out of use and annulled because of age) is ripe for disappearance and to be dispensed with altogether.
The first covenant has fault in them because it's based on man's performance, while the second covenant of mercy is based on CHRIST's finished work on the Cross.
4. Our first body vs. our second body
1 Corinthians 15:42-44 (Amplified Bible)
15:42 So it is with the resurrection of the dead. [The body] that is sown is perishable and decays, but [the body] that is resurrected is imperishable (immune to decay, immortal).
15:43 It is sown in dishonor and humiliation; it is raised in honor and glory. It is sown in infirmity and weakness; it is resurrected in strength and endued with power.
15:44 It is sown a natural (physical) body; it is raised a supernatural (a spiritual) body. [As surely as] there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body.
Our first body, as is, is physical body, but our bodies given to us is a spiritual, glorified bodies.
1 Corinthians 15:48-49 (Amplified Bible)
15:48 Now those who are made of the dust are like him who was first made of the dust (earthly-minded); and as is [the Man] from heaven, so also [are those] who are of heaven (heavenly-minded).
15:49 And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.
5. First body of CHRIST vs. His Second Body
Romans 7:4 (Amplified Bible)
7:4 Likewise, my brethren, you have undergone death as to the Law through the [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.
Galatians 2:20 (Amplified Bible)
2:20 I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
But CHRIST's Second body after resurrection is somewhat different from his physical body before because it can enter doors that are locked.

20:19 Then on that same first day of the week, when it was evening, though the disciples were behind closed doors for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace to you!
CHRIST's Second body is glorious because we are the body of CHRIST.

1:18 He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent].
6. First coming of the LORD vs. Second Coming of the LORD

22:7 And behold, I am coming speedily. Blessed (happy and to be envied) is he who observes and lays to heart and keeps the truths of the prophecy (the predictions, consolations, and warnings) contained in this [little] book.
Revelation 22:12 (Amplified Bible)
22:12 Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit.
Revelation 22:20 (Amplified Bible)

His First coming was rejection and in humility, even death on the cross, but His Second Coming will be in power and majesty.

7. Elijah as first vs. Elisha as second
Elisha has double portion of Elijah's spirit, what could be better than that?
