  1. Mangosteen has been used in traditional medicine ancient recorded in the history of the Ming Dynasty (1268-1644AD).
  2. Scientific research on mangosteen in the world when it is printed in the paper, can make a pile as high as 1 1/2 meters.
  3. Xanthon (xanthones) was first discovered by a German scientist in 1855 while studying dysentery, because yellow and crystallized called "xanthos" derived from the Greek word meaning yellow.
  4. 1979 "alpha mangostin" one of a kind xanthones, known as anti-burns in Madras, India.
  5. Until now, more than 200 xanthones have been found naturally and are about 43 types of xanthones found in the mangosteen fruit.
  6. Several laboratory studies have underscored the ability of xanthones in addressing some bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus (the bacteria that causes intoksisasi), interococci, Salmonella, Helicobacter pylori (the bacteria digestion), and enterococci.
