"Yes, Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still under development and we can't wait to learn more about Jade's past in the 20th Anniversary Edition." The company refers to a new mission in the 20th Anniversary Edition that must connect the original to the second part.
It is not surprising that Ubisoft has to emphasize again and again that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still being worked on. The first CGI trailer of the highly anticipated sequel was shown all the way back in 2008. The game reappeared for the first time in 2017, but after a few updates from the developers, it has been quiet around the game for years now.
