Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho admits when he left Real Madrid the club was about to "explode".
Mourinho, speaking with Sport & Style, insists he set up Real for their golden era of Champions League titles under current coach Zinedine Zidane.
"I would have liked to arrive at Real Madrid at the moment I left it, I would like to land at Manchester United just when I decide to leave, what for? To catch a coached team by Mourinho ... A dream!" he declared.
"When I left, Madrid was ready to explode, and that's when it really started to win, especially against Barcelona...
"I'm a constructor, a football mason."
Mourinho added: "If I consider my work easy? No! I work like a madman!
"I think that in order to succeed in a job like mine today, first you have to control everything and then intervene at multiple levels of experience.
"Honestly, I'd love to lead a team that would have been coached by myself in the previous five years."
