  1. Dearest Diary gives you a place to record thoughts, ideas, and anything else that you want to save but don't want everyone to have access to. Even on a shared computer, you can keep private records with this password-protected program.
  2. Pros
  3. Good interface: Once you enter your username and password, you can access the main program interface. This is nicely designed and provides access to all app features. You can create new entries, search for old ones, and change the date and time to match the record you are entering.
  4. Customizable: Just about any font and color is available to you. You'll never have trouble conveying any message or mood with all of the options you have at your disposal.
  5. Cons
  6. RAR format: This app comes as a RAR file, so you'll have to download another program to open it if you don't have one already installed. Even when you do finally get it installed, it can be a little tricky figuring out what exactly you're supposed to open to get to the main interface from the long list of files the app comes with.
  7. Bottom Line
  8. This can be a handy program, especially if you use a computer that other people have regular access to and want to keep certain things to yourself. It's free, and it works well once you manage to install and open it.
