Should I buy a wordpress hosting plan or just common one?
Hi guys, I have just launched a new website by wordpress. My friend share his host with my website, and it run quite good. But now, my website has a large amount of traffic so I need a new powerful hosting service. I heard about a kind hosting plan that is specialized for wordpress.
Is it better for my website or a common plan will be fine?

A normal hosting plan should do. Make sure that the host is using SSD's & not normal hardware. Also that it uses a fast server like litespeed or nginx and for database it uses mariaDB & not mysql. This should be sufficient. There is no such thing called as specialized wordpress hosting. Hosting companies just change the catching level to make wordpress bit more faster. That's it.

i don't think you need host that specializes in WordPress for your site to run smoothly, most hosting should be able to run WordPress. But if a host is offering a WordPress plan then go with that, as they would of optimized their servers best to suit WordPress.
