  1. I got 20,000 Ripple (XRP) for free, and I was then able to turn around
  2. and sell 14,000 of them for 2 full Bitcoins! Here's how...
  3. First, you have to have a Ripple address and wallet to work from. To get one,
  4. go to https://ripple.com/client/#/register and fill in the form there to create
  5. a Ripple wallet.
  6. Once you have the wallet created, you will have an address which starts with the
  7. letter "r" and will look like this... rEkKoXkfBuAFFNruVXWbkCGSWGW1JBJRkm
  8. (That's my Ripple address, by the way... if you end up profiting from this
  9. information, feel free to send me a tip! ;-)
  10. Now, to get some Ripple XRP... I got mine here on the official Bitcoin Forums
  11. in this thread... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145506.0
  12. Just post your Ripple address in the thread and an automated script will pick
  13. up your address and send you XRP. I got 20,000 this way... I'm not sure how
  14. much they are paying out now.
  15. Here's the catch with this method, though... anyone whose Bitcoin Forum account
  16. was created before February 19, 2013, 18:45 UTC, is eligible to receive XRP.
  17. If your's wasn't, then you cannot get XRP this way.
  18. Fortunately, there are other methods. Go back to the main Ripple website,
  19. https://ripple.com, and sign up for the mailing list... they are emailing to

  39. inform people when future giveaways occur. In fact, there is one coming up at
  40. the end of the month.
  41. Another way is to sign up and earn points at ABitBack. ABitBack gives Bitcoins
  42. and Litecoins as rewards for completing offers (I'm sure you've seen that sort
  43. of site before). Soon, they will be including Ripple XRP as a reward as well.
  44. Sign up at http://abitback.com/members/register.php?ref=deslockdarkstar
  45. Once you finally have Ripple, check the "Currency Exchange" board back on the
  46. official Bitcoin Forum. There are numerous people who want to buy Ripple XRP
  47. for Bitcoin. About 5 days ago, I was able to trade 7000 XRP per Bitcoin, which
  48. is a great trade for something I got for free about a month ago! The Currency
  49. Exchange board is here... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
  50. Also, check the "Alternate Currencies" board as well... I found this guy, whose
  51. forum name is "bdub" there, and I found him to be trustworthy and reliable. His
  52. thread for trading is here... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=201108.0
  53. The main page for the Alternate Cryptocurrencies board is located here...
