Springfield Group is proud to announce another achievement in our trajectory of becoming a Ghanaian and African Energy giant.
With the Government of Ghana declaring our Afina and Eni's Sankofa fields unitized, Springfield now becomes the first indigenous Ghanaian E&P company in oil production.
The combined field, operated by ENI, currently produces circa 58,000 barrels of oil per day, with a potential to expand to circa 115,000 barrels of oil per day within the next few years.
The unitized field gives Springfield (WCTP) 54.5% of the combined field with Eni (OCTP) holding the remaining 45.5%.
Another huge milestone for not just Springfield Group, but for Ghana as well.
This pioneering venture showcases the potential we have as a nation to chart hitherto unknown courses and still be successful.
We hope for more jobs and expansion within the energy industry in Ghana as we start this new journey with all the possibilities it brings.
