  1. Paul Pogba: Manchester United star forces Barcelona to take two things into consideration
  2. BARCELONA will not be signing Manchester United star Paul Pogba, according to reports.
  3. Pogba’s Manchester United future is shrouded in uncertainty with the France international falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho.
  4. Reports have claimed the 24-year-old recently became embroiled in a spat with his manager and, consequently, may be shown the door when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
  5. Barcelona have emerged as potential suitors with the Catalan giants supposedly eyeing a move despite missing out on Pogba during the summer of 2016.
  6. But Spanish website Diario Gol say Ernesto Valverde’s side will not be rescuing Pogba from his Manchester United nightmare with two things being taken into consideration.
  7. There is no denying the talent the midfield maestro possesses.
  8. The player has been regarded as one of the finest in world football ever since he swapped United for Juventus back in 2012.
  9. He returned expected to be their heir to Paul Scholes but Pogba has done little to justify his huge £89million price tag.
  10. And Diario Gol say Barcelona have decided not to pursue the Frenchman amid concerns over his attitude.
  11. They reportedly feel Pogba would want a prominent role in their side and, with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta already key dressing room figures, his arrival could create problems within the locker room.
  12. Pogba has, for the most part, behaved well at United but there are still concerns about his flashy lifestyle off the pitch.
  13. Barcelona also feel Pogba would demand regular game time.
  14. And that is something they are unable to guarantee with Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets currently forming their midfield trident.
