Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi would be conducting the sixth edition of the International Theatre Festival of Kerala (ITFOK) from January 27 to February 3, 2014 at Thrissur. The theme of the sixth ITFOK is based on gender, transition and spectatorship which have contemporary resonance.

India cancelled its Rs 3,600 crore deal with Anglo-Italian firm AgustaWestland for supply of 12 VVIP choppers to the Air Force in view of charges that kickbacks to the tune of Rs 360 crore were paid in it.
