Last night I had the opportunity to share space with a phenomenal man. A man that has dedicated nearly my entire life to public service. Rev., Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II sat with me and shared his story from birth to present day. Any person running for political office can say what you want to hear. Or what they think you want to hear. In my opinion it is a mans character that means the most. Not from a standpoint of perfection but genuine, pure intentions and outcomes. Thank you @repcleaver for your service, integrity and for your humanity. You are a true Kansas City pioneer and deserve the utmost respect at all times.
