Vintage Vox AC30 speaker identification? - It's loud as heck I ditched the attenuator since we figured it may be a risk for the amp , it compresses like AC30 should, it's crystal clear when played at lower levels, it very cool to lead plugs from one input into another...
I need a little help dating a vox ac30 I was just given. The panel on the back says jennings musical industries ltd. It has blue speakers marked Vox. It has six inputs - vib-trem, normal and brilliant. The handle has vox stitched into it. Control panel appears to be copper with the labels lithograph. I pulled the electronics out and the woden transformers are marked KU - which I have read suggests November '63. Would this be correct? Sorry for the rubbish link. I'm on the phone!
