  1. Tristan da Cunha
  2. If heaven is solitude, then you could do far worse than visit this British in another country territory. It is the most remote inhabited islands in the world, resting 1, 200 miles from the closest inhabited land, Saint Helena, and one particular, 500 miles from the nearest continental land, Southern region Africa. 266 people call it up home and despite the remoteness, it has its own nine-hole the game of golf and pub (called the Albatross). Getting there is tough - you will need to board an investigation vessel from Shawl Town, and departures are infrequent. Follow this website link for a cracking accounts of your visit.
