One of the volcanoes in Saint Kitts and Nevis is Mount Liamuiga and it is a stratovolcano. It means that it was created due to the layers of lava, ashes and whatever was emitted from a nearby volcanic explosion. Usually the craters of these types of volcanoes are calderas and have a mini lake on top. As for Mount Liamuiga, it does have a one-kilometer wide crater lake and the last time it erupted was roughly 1,800 years ago.
