The Astwood Cove

One benefit of Shelly Bay Beach is that it is bordered by a row of trees, which may provide a much-needed break from the island's relentless heat when it becomes too intense. Families also like Shelly Bay because it's a safe area for youngsters to splash about in the sea since the waters are shallow even during high tide. A playground is situated a short distance from the beach.
