Last month Adobe announced a data breach that eventually expanded to include 150 million passwords as well as source code for Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader and Adobe Cold Fusion. Due to the popularity of Adobe’s product line, the ripple effects of the breach may impact a variety of industries.
Adobe was fortunate to have been informed of the breach after their data was found by security researchers, as many breaches go undetected. What can companies and their users do to protect themselves against similar breaches?
