The Robben Island is based on Table Bay. This is also where the famous president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, was imprisoned before the apartheid. This area is not only a national heritage site for South Africans, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can see the sturdy lighthouse and the magnificent wildlife that surround the area. However, the island is more famous for being a prison to many people such as Kgalema Motlanthe and Jacob Zuma.
