  1. Outside my office, there's a small boardroom we use for internal meetings etc. Before we occupied this place and even when i just resumed ,other tenants (in this case companies) used it for the meetings.
  2. It wasnt an issue because my office was empty. But we decided to take it on less than two months ago, because the boardroom is usually booked and we have meetings almost everyday. So we paid the property owner and took over the space, got an 8-seater table, wall pictures and flowers.
  3. We 'owned' our space. And some colleagues use it for meditation (which in this case is when you have a deadline/presentation/meeting and you wan read with clear eye before you send document to higher authorities - lol)
  4. However, a much bigger company beside us (global organisation actually) likes to sneak in for their minor meetings - not minding that someone owns the place.
  5. They have plenty space oh but na this our kóró sweet them to use. They employ some lousy Americans (apologies to anyone who finds that phrase offensive, I'm just being blunt) who roll their tongues at the top of their voice as if there is no one next door.
  6. I complained to the facility manager cos i dont want any interrogation with them and in the past 3 weeks they acted right. Only for the facility manager to tell me he had to leave early yesterday and I should email any complaints, that he sent a general mail to that explain this. Seeing that the guy wasn't around two of them appeared again yesterday afternoon.
  7. I opened the door (slit) and explained to them that we understand that they used to do that before but this place has been paid for. So they should please use the main board room. The Nigerian girl there said the boardroom was occupied, the white chic ignored me.
  8. I told her their being there can be distracting because they talk loudly so if they can keep their voices down i will allow it just for today. The white chic now says: well, she's not aware of that so the facility manager has to come and tell her himself *rolling her neck* I told her I could call him because I'm aware he is off today, if she needs confirmation.
  9. She said he will have to come and tell them himself. Hehehe. Stella on top chair and table wey my company buy so? I didn't say *pim* I just locked the entrance door to the mini board room. And locked the one leading to my office. Took both keys, put my documents in a flash drive, carried my laptop, and went to my colleagues desk opposite to sit down. He was having nuts sef so it went with my green tea.
  10. Meeting finished naau, they were trapped in. Started hitting the door 'help! Help!! Anyone here?' My senior colleague now called intercom and asked if everything was okay I told him yes that I need to discipline some people the oyibo way.
  11. He laughed and hung up. He now called and said my boss just passed to his office from a meeting and heard them knocking. Upon interrogation, he said they should tell me 'well done for putting a stop to the misuse of our space'
  12. I was gingered. About 30 minutes, nobody had answered them. Then she now called the facility manager to complain.
  13. The facility manager called our landline to ask what was happening i told him whitey said he needs to come to the office to make her leave and from what I see that's what has to happen because she isn't ready to leave. He was laughing and begged me to open for them but I told him i won't. That I'm not even ready to go home now.
  14. He thought I was joking until another hour passed.
  15. Unfortunately, it was already past 5:30 pm and his assistant had gone home since there was no pre-informed need to stay. In the interim, queen - association of tongue rollers was screaming 'is she freaking kidding me?? House arrest? I'm definitely getting the authorities involved. You cant do this. I freaking have meetings to get to. This is freaking silly'.
  16. Stella, *pim* i no talk, I was just hearing from the office opposite. She called her colleagues, but those ones knew today wasnt the day so they didnt bother getting into our space. Facility manager now called and said that pleeeassee he had to leave because his sister is in the hospital and has just gone in for CS after 12 hours of labour that pleaasse I shouldnt make his day worse ejoor. That he will sort it out tomorrow..
