Germany is preparing for 2nd hard lockdown after Christmas until January. Some states starting lockdown already next week. Health minister is talking about vaccination for everyone only available by 3rd quarter 2021. These news mean that unfortunately the events and exhibition industry in Germany will continue to suffer in 2021. I therefore don’t expect many trade shows before Q3/2021. This situation looks similar for most of Europe while China and parts of Asia enjoying a sharp recovery. Hybrid and virtual events will remain important to engage communities in 2021.
