  5. The attempt at manslaughter driver was speeding without headlights when he lost control, veered off the street, hit and smashed Wanczyk to death, the Northwestern District Attorney's office said.
  6. The transport shield in which Wanczyk was sitting was additionally devastated in the crash.
  7. The driver sped on after the crash. He later deserted his seriously harmed truck some separation from the crash site.
