  2. The Kremlin diet, also known as the diet of American astronauts, wears such a big name because many politicians and state officials have chosen it for relative simplicity and the ability not to abandon diverse products.
  3. The diet is based on several principles:
  4. 1. Meat and cheese - animal protein;
  5. 2. Vegetables rich in fiber;
  6. 3. Exclusion of carbohydrates;
  7. 4. Abundant drink - liquids should be drunk quite a lot - drinking water without gas, herbal teas, herbal preparations without sugar, occasionally - sugar substitute.
  8. There is a table of the Kremlin diet, through which you can find out the value of products in conventional units - and, more precisely, the content of carbohydrates.
  9. Following the Kremlin diet, a day should use no more than 40 conventional units in order to lose weight: 40-60 units in order to maintain weight. When you consume more than 60 units, you gain weight.
  10. Due to the fact that the diet is based on proteins, it is contraindicated in people who have a history of kidney disease, cardiovascular system and digestive tract.
