First of all, if you try to format your usb, it will be useless because of malware.
1.) Open Command Prompt, run as administrator
2.) Type the drive letter of your usb. ex: F:
3.) Copy and paste this code: attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d (drive letter):\*.*
4.) A new blank folder will be created to your usb and your files are there.
(Sometimes, your original files will be shown already)
Copy those files then paste it temporarily on your local disk folders (computer).
5.) Delete the original files from the usb, then delete the shortcuts. (Don't delete the
blank folder)
6.) Scan your usb for malwares (You can use your preferred antivirus but I recommend Malwarebytes)
7.) You can now format your usb.
8.) Now move your temporary files to your usb and everything will be back on normal.
