Pumped gas out of tank. Pulled starter rope a few times to drain gas from fuel pump. Got to take it for service before 2018 hurricane season starts in high gear August-September. Purchase Honda for high reliability but did not get it. At high rpms it runs smooth. It did not produce a good sine wave and so my fridge would not run properly on it. If that is not enough to convince you, check out the three year warranty and the excellent owners manual I write owners manuals and know a good one when I see one. The only negative so far is that there is little specific information in the manual concerning the difference in use between having the ground internally bonded to the neutral and what equipment or in what sort of situation that would affect. It is good to know that we will not lose the contents of the fridge in the next long-term power. My only suggestion the implimation of which would move my rating from 4 to 5is to tweak the design so that it is possible to add oil to the unit that doesn't easily overflow onto the bottom of the unit. So then I think what are the chances this thing will spin the 15,000, 13500 turned off yep ran for about 45 minutes until the gas expired. This unit has a four cycle engine. Easy to start, runs very quiet. Wired in a transfer switch system for three circuits. After 5 days and about 30 hours of use, i couldnt be happier.
