It's difficult to concentrate in reviewing notes. Really, you just want to scan it out and in an instance, you already memorize everything. Why not try to have some suggestions and tips on how to concentrate reviewing your lessons and having a good score? After so, you'll surely win a dare!
First thing, you must of course have your notes! But if you were that lazy one not to have one, well, just do the Gangnam style!
Kidding aside, borrow other's copy or ask them to have a group study. Isn't it better to have someone to discuss your problem with? It's the same with reviewing.
Share what you know and can recall as your group mates do the same. Isn't great? Aside from boredom leaves you, you can also enjoy other's company not just at times of hanging out but as well as in academical aspects.
Second tip is to forget about the quote It's better to cheat than to repeat. That's no use anyway. Always remember that you can do it alone. Always think that you are wise. You are smart. You just need concentration and priors.
Another way is to review in a quiet, silent place. Forget about everything, just plain lessons and exams. Make an outline, write down the important key concepts. You don't need to memorize everything written in your 120+ paged notebook. Just the clues, and the outline plus, of course the pointers your Prof. gave.
Fourth way is to be inspired. Think of your guardian/s' efforts just to send you to school, or your lover's reaction upon knowing that you got O out of how many items or maybe, the one you're courting will gonna say 'no' upon looking at your card. Have a positive outlook and 100 awaits!
Fifth, do a dare! Dare a friend of yours, your lover, your seatmate, your teacher, your proctor, your parents, your brothers, your sisters, or whoever! The one who gets the highest score must think of a punishment for the loser. Isn't it great? Think of something difficult and something you want from that someone. Example, you want a car. Dare your parents that if you got 100% in your exams, they'll give you Lamborghini Veneno. Or if your lover got mad, dare her that if you got 99%, she'll gonna forgive you -- well, if it's just a minor misunderstanding.
Lastly, but most importantly and specially, pray to God. Thank Him and ask for His guidance for He is always right next to you. Ask for wisdom and knowledge for as long as you ask help from Him, He will provide.
