VIP Fashion Week Experience.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Rhonda Byrnes and the entire team of The Secret and contributors. I always come visit the site to read all the inspirational stories and always feel encouraged by them.
I have known The Secret since 2009 and have read The Magic, The Power and Hero as well and loved them. I was going through some tough times and I deviated from the teachings for a while. But then I started to reread the books especially The Magic, to reinforce what I knew and to ensure that I was following the processes correctly. The Magic Checks, vision boards, magic money, dream lists, the works.
One of the things that was on my vision board were models, fashion shows and fashion week because I really wanna be a model. On this one TV channel was a competition to win a VIP experience to the Mercedes Benz fashion week here in Johannesburg. I was very low on airtime and with my last R1.50 airtime, I sent one sms to enter on Tuesday the 8th of March this year, which was the closing date of the competition. I didn’t expect to win but a tiny voice inside me said that I will.
And like clockwork I get called on Thursday the 10th from the TV station telling me that I won!! I was so elated and the day, 11th March, was surreal. I got a really expensive designer outfit made for me to keep, hair and makeup with the models backstage, a chauffeur, various interviews, a photoshoot, red carpet treatment, queues being opened up, meeting up with celebrities, queues being opened up again, food bills being picked up, front row fashion week seats, tons of gifts, freebies and extras and a luxury 5 star penthouse accommodation for the day. I also met a guy who greatly resembles the guy on my vision board and I am going to be on TV. All of it just by me winning that competition and imagining being at fashion week.
I am rather cynical and skeptical at times but if all this can happen to me, it can happen to you too!!! Keep hoping, keep believing and keep dreaming. Never give up and keep the faith.
