Vtech, a popular children’s technology and toy firm, has recently suspended trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange and informed its clients about the hack that allegedly saw 4.8 million customer details leaked, including sensitive data about kids and adults. The company admitted that a few weeks ago, an “unauthorized party” accessed its customer data housed on the company’s Learning Lodge app store database. According to Vtech representatives, the leak information included private profile details, including names, addresses, IP addresses, email addresses, download history and even secret questions and answers.
