  3. If still now to the above, Can you check the following? I don't think it's completely fresh as I've seen entries in the registry that are not new. Clicking Check Name again, just shows the previous error — The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable.
  4. I've checked everything from the workstation to the user on the server and cant figure what could be causing this workstation not to connect to the server. I have same error above, i googling the error for two days, and my fixed is restart the exchange server, because the server is working for a couple of yrs, and i don't change any reconfiguration or etc. The issue you posted is related to Exchange Server and would be better suited in the TechNet community Forums. Guitars are good though, glasses are not considered either way.
  5. Can you ping the mail server by name? Select the existing profile and click on Remove to delete that profile. I am not very Exchange savvy. Then click Ok and restart Outlook. If you were unable to restore your Outlook profile using any of the above methods, Remo Repair Outlook software shows you in a few simple steps on. I have also run the Exchange Connectivity Test but don't have an idea where I suppose to check. It is hard being a low-rep member and wanting to contribute and earn rep, when you have the big limitation of not being able to comment.
  6. Fix The Connection to Microsoft Exchange is Unavailable - The set of folders cannot be opened. I just installed and get everything to work with my new Exchange 2016 server, but when i adding it to Outlook 2013 i autodiscover setup works and it says restart outlook.
  7. Hi all, I just setup an Exchange server using Exchange Server 2013 Standard Edition on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. The installation goes well without any issue or freaky error message. Both computer is pingable on both sides. The problem now is when I try to create 1 user mailbox, it can automatically detect the username, but last it cannot detect Exchange server and ends up with the error below. I had tried to disabling the firewall on both client and server side but still get the error message. But it is the same on 32-bit. Appreciate if anybody can assist and give any any idea. Your expert comment is highly appreciated. Thanks Shah Outlook is connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable that the Exchange Server Hostname cannot be resolved. Can you do a nslookup of the Hostname from the client. Please do let me know the progress. Be sure all available Service Packs and Culmative updates are applied to both the Exchange server and the Office 2013 install. Report back your findings so we can try and hash this out. So far ping and nslookup is ok. I will try for another recommended solution as well in this post. Check that and also do what Gregory from Microssoft suggested, run the Exchange Connectivity test. Your internal domain name is domain. Will try to troubleshoot based on all the advices here. Yes, our internal domain is domain. Is exchange machine joined to the domain. Coincidentally, our Internet line is problem together with our network. It makes me confuse and don't know where to troubleshoot. Fyi, the exchange server is in the domain. Fyi guys, this is our test server. I have also run the Exchange Connectivity Test but don't have an idea where I suppose to check. I have same error above, i googling the error for two days, and my fixed is restart the exchange server, because the server is working for a couple of yrs, and i don't change any reconfiguration or etc. Hi all, I'm having the same issue here with only one workstation refusing to connect Outlook 2010 to Exchange 2013. I've checked everything from the workstation to the user on the server and cant figure what could be causing this workstation not to connect to the server. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm running out of hair to pull out!. Is the box fully patched with Office and Windows updates. Try another user profile on that problem box. I have encountered a few times some previous admin hard coded the server info in the registry and clearing that got it back to normal. Can you ping the mail server by name. Can you open Outlook Web Access on that machine. It might also help to see the output of the Outlook Test Email Auto-configuration, connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable sanitized screenshot would be fine. One other question, do you have a proxy server at that site. Sometimes that can screw with connections, so try disabling it to configure Outlook if you have. Can you ping the mail server by name.
