  1. 1.) Head over to This site to see if the servers are up.
  3. 2.) If they are copy the hosts file that is presented under the server notification icon.
  5. 3.) Make a backup of original hosts file.
  6. (Delete the info from the original hosts file, MAKE A BACKUP)
  8. 4.) Copy the info from the host file that you got on the site into the hosts file located on your pc, save the file.
  10. Connect your iPad/iPhone/iPod to your PC (via USB) and open iTunes.
  11. Step five: Wait for the message box with: iTunes can't verify the identity of the server "albert.apple.com" , then click "Continue".
