I got 20,000 Ripple (XRP) for free, and I was then able to turn around
and sell 14,000 of them for 2 full Bitcoins! Here's how...
First, you have to have a Ripple address and wallet to work from. To get one,
go to https://ripple.com/client/#/register and fill in the form there to create
a Ripple wallet.
Once you have the wallet created, you will have an address which starts with the
letter "r" and will look like this... rEkKoXkfBuAFFNruVXWbkCGSWGW1JBJRkm
(That's my Ripple address, by the way... if you end up profiting from this
information, feel free to send me a tip! ;-)
Now, to get some Ripple XRP... I got mine here on the official Bitcoin Forums

Just post your Ripple address in the thread and an automated script will pick
up your address and send you XRP. I got 20,000 this way... I'm not sure how
much they are paying out now.
Here's the catch with this method, though... anyone whose Bitcoin Forum account
was created before February 19, 2013, 18:45 UTC, is eligible to receive XRP.
If your's wasn't, then you cannot get XRP this way.
Fortunately, there are other methods. Go back to the main Ripple website,
https://ripple.com, and sign up for the mailing list... they are emailing to
inform people when future giveaways occur. In fact, there is one coming up at
the end of the month.
Another way is to sign up and earn points at ABitBack. ABitBack gives Bitcoins
and Litecoins as rewards for completing offers (I'm sure you've seen that sort
of site before). Soon, they will be including Ripple XRP as a reward as well.

Once you finally have Ripple, check the "Currency Exchange" board back on the
official Bitcoin Forum. There are numerous people who want to buy Ripple XRP
for Bitcoin. About 5 days ago, I was able to trade 7000 XRP per Bitcoin, which
