  15. when choosing a domain name how important is it today (Oct 2019) to have keywords within your domain name? For example:

  18. Great question. I was just talking about this. I know that some seo tools check the length of a url and rate it as good by how short it is.
  19. It's not going to get you on the first page of Google, if that's what you're asking.

  29. Its help you lots now because i saw many websites who change his URL before few months because now Google is giving you preference if your keyword is in your URL according to his rule (like length of URL).
  30. I think you should always include keywords in the domain name if you can it explains your core business. It's just less important to have EMDs (Exact Match Domains) now.
  31. It depends what do you want to achieve. If it is about establishing a brand, a domain name with the keywords there isn't a good idea, unless it is identical to the brand's name. If it is about launching a website with the sole purpose to get as much targeted visitors from the SE as possible, then it worths to have a domain which contains the right keywords. However, the Search Engines will not rank the website by the domain name. they will value it based on its content and popularity, anyway.

  38. What tools you use for SEO? Any backlinking service is legit?
  39. Yes, it care keywords in domains.
  40. I would definitely recommend you to use keyword in domain.
  41. But make it short to catch more attention.
  42. I think it's a good idea to use keywords which are related to your niche.
  43. @HostColor explained it quite well.
  44. My guess is that brand name isn't much of an importance in your case. So, if you are getting a domain with keywords then you should take it.
  45. if you are more confident in building your brand from any XYZ name then you can skip it and focus on any short and catchy name.
  46. From my own experience with keywords in the domain name, I'd not recommend you to create a domain name based on high-value keyword, because it might face a quite tough competition. What I mean is that you will most likely struggle to rank for your own brand name.
  47. Hello,
  48. it's a good question. yes, afcouse google care because choose short keyword in domain is great way and have more chance to appear in serarch result.
  49. its not what I am asking...
  50. There will over 2000 backlinks later..
  51. Question is clear: Does Google CARE about keywords within URL or it doesn't?

  53. Having the keyword in the URL is better in SEO but it's not if it's in the domain name.
  54. Ex: "yourkeywordabcxyz.com" is not better in SEO but "abcxyz.com/yourkeyword" is better.
  55. Keywords in URL always effect in search engine, But try to register any brand name, When you will register a brand name then you need to give some time, But when users will search your brand name then there will no need for hard work.
  56. Thanks
