  1. La Soufriere
  2. La Soufriere is a mountain peak in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines which also happens to be a volcano. In English, it is translated as “The Sulfurer” maybe because when it erupts, the volcano emits sulfur. Is it active? The volcano is very much so and the last eruption transpired almost 38 years ago. No one was hurt because the residents were alerted of its seismic activity beforehand. Adventurers try to climb this 4,049-feet peak. It is the highest mountain/stratovolcano in the island.
