  1. You may have seen the term ‘cloud’ or ‘cloud computing’ circulating around popular media. Though it’s a widely used term it is not a widely understood concept. Why is cloud computing unique, or how can it work? Can it be simply a new term that means online or the net?
  2. In short cloud computing means utilizing a program online that would have otherwise needed to be set up on your PC. Quite simply, employing a web browser instead of installed software. When they install software on a server that enables remote access, many companies have utilized a form of cloud computing. Is using a web connection although the program isn’t installed on an individual ‘s computer they are able to still access. The benefits of the cloud are it enables one to obtain info from anywhere with access to the internet as well as on a good phone. Applications and all essential applications are kept on a safe server for easy access from any location at any time. The idea isn’t new, and in reality, it has existed since the 1980’s. It’s this increased speed that’s made cloud computing potential and feasible.
