Punakha has the best climate in all of Bhutan. During summer, it’s not too hot and during winter, it’s not too cold. Overall, the weather is just great.
That’s not the only thing great in Punakha; the town has beautiful monuments to visit. Punakha Dzong is a must to check out. You also have to see the Khamsum Yuley Temple and the Chhimi Lhakhang. You might want to trek Punkha’s hill called the Dompala hill to reach the Limbukham Village. The climb is 2-3 hours at best and contains a suspension bridge and of course, hot springs.
