  1. IMO Nagato can potentially summon meteors just as madara. After seeing this Manga scan , i can only think of these requirements for Tengai Shinsei .
  2. 1) High Chakra Reserves .
  3. This is not debatable and i don't even need to explain how big nagato's chakra reserves are.
  4. 2) Rinnegan
  5. Tengai Shinsei is a rinnegan Jutsu as Madara didn't use this jutsu until he possessed the rinnegan and kabuto also acknowledged it as the power fo the six paths but not of the uchiha .
  6. Nagato had the best rinnegan mastery as only he put all the powers of the six paths to good use . So he also meets this requirement .
  7. 3) Simultaneously weaving the Three hand signs aka - Ram + Snake + Bird
  8. Hand Seals are used to perform many ninjutsu, genjutsu, and other secret arts other than taijutsu. The exact amount of chakra necessary to perform a technique is manipulated through hand seals.
  9. So there is no reason why the susanoo is necessary for the jutsu as it just did the hand seals .
  10. Nagato can weave the three hand Seals simultaneously by using his Asura path which can produce up to 4 extra arms just like in the case of Madara's Susanoo .
  11. If you are going to say this - "then why didn't Madara do it using Asura path" . Well the answer to this is simple since Susanoo meets the requirement of the extra hands and it offers better protection than Asura Path so he doesn't have any need to deactivate his susanoo .
  12. So what do you think guys , can Nagato potentially use Tengai Shinsei or not ?
  13. EDIT - After doing a little research i found Drproof's thread about tengai shinsei being a rinnegan tech . Please read this as well .
  14. The Rinnegan's Omnipotent; Tengai Shinsei
  15. Prologue
  16. The Rinnegan is known as the Greatest Doujutsu; being apart of The Sage Of Six Path's own power thus, this Doujutsu's prowess shouldn't be limited in fact The Rinnegan should be re-known as an Omnipotent. However, the purpose of this thread is to disprove the accusation that Tengai Shinsei is NOT a Sharingan based technique, but a Rinnegan based technique.

  18. Tengai Shinsei
  19. The connection between Tengai Shinsei, and The Rinnegan is one of The Six Paths; Deva Path:
  20. Deva: Tendō 天道 in Japanese. The realm of heavenly beings filled with pleasure; the Deva hold Godlike Powers; some reign over celestial kingdoms; most live in delightful happiness and splendor; they live for countless ages, but even the Deva belong to the world of suffering (samsara) -- for their powers blind them to the world of suffering and fill them with pride -- and thus even the Deva grow old and die; some say that because their pleasure is greatest, so too is their misery.
  21. Pay close attention to this line: "The Realm Of Heavenly Beings; Hold Godlike Powers.". Basically The Deva Path is a God from Heaven; this is a huge connection between the attacks the Deva Path used against Konoha, in the Konoha Invasion arc. Those techniques were the following: Banshō Ten'in, Shinra Tensei, and Chibaku Tensei.
  22. Here's why they are all connected:
  23. Banshō Ten'in:
  24. Shinra Tensei:
  25. Chibaku Tensei:
  26. Heavenly. That is the big connection with these techniques, and The Deva Path; the manipulation with gravity as well is a strong connection. Now allow me to link this strong connection with Tengai Shinsei.
  27. Tengai Shinsei is often called an Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan technique because Madara Uchiha used it in battle against the 5 Kages, well this is an incorrect accusation. Tengai Shinsei involves the manipulation of gravity (bringing meteorites from the "heavens"), as well as interpreting into "Shattered Heaven"; The connection is obvious in cohesion with the other Rinnegan based techniques.
  28. So that brings us to an end; The Rinnegan possesses Tengai Shinsei within its arsenal giving it a total of five (I haven't brought in the other technique because it is irrelevant) "Heavenly" based techniques. Thus,Tengai Shinsei is not an Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan technique, but a Rinnegan technique instead.
  29. Conclusion
  30. Tengai Shinsei isn't an Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan technique, but a Rinnegan technique instead. The evidence at hand; Deva Path- Heavenly; Godlike Beings; Tengai Shinsei means "Shattered Heaven", and it "rains from the Heavens".
