  1. worked in a cabinet shop from 02/2011-10/2012 and installed a lot of cabinets during that time.
  2. If you posted a pic of a layout it would make it easier to explain where to start.
  3. Start with the uppers, if you have uppers to install.
  4. If they go Wall|Cabinet|wall then split the difference and install a filler piece between the cabs and walls.
  5. If they go Wall|Cabinet|Space, then obviously start on the wall.
  6. Find the studs first!
  7. For uppers make a brace for them to sit on, then screw them to the wall.
  8. For base cabinets, fasten your toe kick to the floor, then screw the cabinets to each other first, then to the wall.
  9. Are they european style or face frame?

  11. I have ordered Sierra birch maple wood cabinets having solid raised Panel doors, you can call them european style.
