CRYPTOCURRENCIES LATEST NEWS: Exchange Poloniex plans to stop servicing unverified users
The Poloniex Currency Exchange announces that the team has upgraded the user identification and verification system, as a result of which the so-called old-format accounts (which have not been verified) must be verified through the internal portal, or they will be significantly limited in capabilities, and later completely disabled from trade.
The deadline for the submission of information will be announced in the first quarter of 2018. Poloniex recommends users not to delay with the verification of their accounts, in order to avoid possible trade restrictions due to a violation of deadlines.
In case you have not been verified before the end of the indicated period:
Margin trading and receipt/provision of loans will not be available;
- Active orders will be closed;
- Auto-update for loans is canceled;
- The active margin positions are given for 8 weeks, during which it will be possible only to reduce the position or close it. At the end of this period, all the margin positions of unverified accounts will be closed;
- The addresses for crypto-currency deposits will be canceled, and the funds sent to them will not be available until the account is verified;
- The withdrawal of the cryptocurrency will be valid until the deadline, which is not yet assigned, with a limit of up to $ 2000 per day (after verification it will rise to $ 25,000 per day).
In fact, after this date, the input and output of crypto-currency to the exchange will be possible only for verified users. Those who do not pass verification, obviously will be able to withdraw their coins only after the provision of relevant documents. Thus, the exchange will completely stop the service of anonymous users.
