Filstop Store (Philam Food Grocery) is the Jersey City company with the historical distinction of having been the first publicly known Filipino American retailer to have had a Wage Theft lawsuit filed against it in federal court by an employee on behalf of a class of employees, estimated to number approximately 300 over the years.
