  2. I just call the techniques "fry screaming" and "falsecord screaming"
  3. here's a quick list of other common names:
  4. Fry - "screaming", screeching...
  5. Falsecord - "sigh", grunting, growling, death...
  6. note: "screaming" and "growling" are used for both techniques depending on how low it sound
  7. To be honest, I'm not exactly 100% sure what you're trying to achieve on your mixing end, but a little saturation/ heavy compression and correct EQ have always helped me get a nice commercial soundingscreaming vocal on anything I record. So unless what you're looking for is a specific thing to the actual vocalist, then I don't know :S
