The truck driver is taken into custody and will face court later today. Man arrested in relation to Brisbane woman's abduction
A NSW man is expected to front court in Brisbane charged with kidnapping and assaulting a woman earlier this week.
The 50-year-old man from San Remo on the Central Coast is alleged to have taken the 22-year-old from an address in the southern suburb of Darra about 5pm on Monday.
The truck driver is taken into custody and will face court later today.
It is alleged the woman was driven to a number of nearby locations, including truck stops and an industrial estate and assaulted before being released yesterday.
She was found by police and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man was arrested that same day in Grafton, about 220km south of the border, and extradited to Queensland on Wednesday.
