A suspected Boko Haram terrorist who simply gave his name as Alkali has been arrested by security operatives in the Ibadan area of Oyo state after he confessed that he fled Sambisa forest.
The stronghold of the terrorists was dislodged in December, 2016 by troops on Operation Lafiya Dole with many of the terrorists fleeing the forest.
Tribune Online reports that the suspect was apprehended on Sunday, January 1 in Alalubosa GRA of the Ibadan metropolis following a tip-off from residents.
