Sunil Grover is an Indian actor, comedian and stand-up comedian [1]He acted in many comedy serials but became very popular by his known TV character, Gutthi which he claims to be created by him. He has become more popular for his character role, Dr. Mashoor Gulati.He was discovered during his college days by the late satirist Jaspal Bhatti.[4] He has also acted in India's first Silent comedy show, SAB TV's Gutur Gu in the initial 26 episodes.
He was with Kapil in the stand up comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil and became immensely popular playing comical character, Gutthi.[5][6] He left the popular show for sometime and later again made an entry with the new character as the father-in-law to the show’s lead Kapil Sharma.[7][8]
Sunil Grover along with Manish Paul had also done a comedy show on Star Plus, titled Mad in India but his charm as Chutki could not attract the attention of the audience. The show came to an end soon and he finally stepped back to his old show with Kapil.
