  1. So, if you're reading this then you are probably looking for a way to make bitcoins easily. I'm not going
  2. to lie to you and tell you that making free bitcoins is a fast process, or that you're going to be rich
  3. off of bitcoins. That is possible, but this is just to tell you a few of the ways that you can get started
  4. with bitcoins without putting in an initial investment. What you do beyond that is completely up to you.
  5. First, let's define a few terms. Some of you are probably familiar with how bitcoins work, but for those
  6. of you who don't know;
  7. Bitcoins are an online, anonymous, peer to peer currency controlled by an algorithm. Now what this means is
  8. that there is no direct central authority controlling the currency. The network, which is spread all over
  9. the globe already, prevents fraud and creates the bitcoins. There will be a finite number of bitcoins,
  10. meaning that their value will be controlled by supply and demand directly instead of money hungry banks,
  11. corrupt governments, etc. In general it can be said that the currency is self-governing.
  12. Bitcoins can be exchanged for cash at exchanges, some of which I will list below.
  13. Now, some of you are probably wishing I would get to the point and tell you how to get some bitcoins for
  14. yourselves. Don't worry, I'm coming to that. First though, I want to direct the curious to some links where
  15. they can learn more about bitcoins. If you have questions or concerns about bitcoins, the following links
  16. will give you more information and put the majority of concerns to rest.
  17. Sorry for the ads, you know how it is.
  18. http://cur.lv/3be9 - Myths
  19. http://cur.lv/3bdz - FAQ
  20. http://cur.lv/3be5 - Official FAQ
  21. Those three sites should have answered the majority (or all) of your questions and concerns, on to how to
  22. make bitcoins.
  23. Early adopters could easily mine bitcoins, meaning they have a lot of coin laying around. Unfortunately
  24. unless you want to lay out a couple of thousand dollars for hardware, mining isn't as effective anymore.
  25. This is because the difficulty of the algorithm has been rising since bitcoin's creation. In case you're
  26. interested, you can learn more about mining here: http://cur.lv/3bef and here: http://cur.lv/3beh but I
  27. will not be discussing it in any more detail than that.
  28. Moving on;
  29. The next think I want to cover are free bitcoins. Some of you may immediately be thinking scam, and there
  30. are some running around, such as the survey sites we all know and love... In this case though, there are
  31. some resources of free, no strings attached bitcoins. In order to get in on them though, you need to have a
  32. wallet. No, not that wallet, a bitcoin wallet. A wallet can be hosted on your computer, or on a server (I
  33. personally prefer to have mine hosted, but that's a personal choice).
  34. Hosted:
  35. Paytunia: http://cur.lv/3bev
  36. Blockchain: http://cur.lv/3bex
  37. Instawallet: http://cur.lv/3bey
  38. Downloaded:
  39. MyWallet: http://cur.lv/3bex
  40. MultiBit: http://cur.lv/3bf1
  41. Ok. So that's enough of that. Whichever wallet you choose, you will need to locate your recieving address,
  42. it should look similar to this (remove the quotes); "1MLXeon7Gwkous96tau1wjAkYkkK76LCB4". Which
  43. incidentally is my address, so if anyone cares to throw some bitcoins my way, I find myself strangely
  44. comfortable with the idea.
  45. On to the next task! Once you have located your recieving address, copy it to your clipboard. You're going
  46. to need it for the next sites, bitcoin faucets! Yeah, I know. WTF is a bitcoin faucet, right? Well, a
  47. bitcoin faucet is a source of free bitcoins! Or at least, bitpennies. They are there to help spread the
  48. ditgital goodness that is bitcoin. Some have a slightly different procedure, but there are a few steps that
  49. are immutable. You give them your address, they send you bitcoins. So without further ado, links to the
  50. faucets!
  51. Anonymous:
  52. http://cur.lv/3bfh
  53. http://cur.lv/3bfo - Do this one daily. Just wait for the ad to count down, then collect or refresh to try
  54. and get a higher payout.
  55. http://cur.lv/3bfl - Basically the same thing.
  56. http://cur.lv/3bfv - Gotta be quick on this one, I have yet to get it even though it is daily.
  57. http://cur.lv/3bfz - Daily, but limited.
  58. http://cur.lv/3bg0 - This one is a cross between a game and a faucet. Just enter the captcha, then pick a
  59. crate to see how many bitcoins you get.
  60. Non-anonymous (Which is rather against the spirit of bitcoins...):
  61. http://cur.lv/3bfb (0.001BTC per person, currently. This one asks for your gmail addy.)
  62. http://cur.lv/3bfd (This one wants a cell phone (I know, I know. Screw that)).
  63. That's it for faucets. I'm sure there are more out there, but you get the idea. There are other ways to
  64. make free bitcoins as well without filling out surveys. Those links will be below :)
  65. http://cur.lv/3bg3 - This one is kind of complex, so I suggest reading this first: http://cur.lv/3bg7
  66. http://cur.lv/3bg9 - Get bitcoins just for viewing sites. There's a minimum time of 5 minutes, so just
  67. minimize it after you're done looking and come back in a few.
  68. http://cur.lv/3bga - Watch videos, get bitcoins. What could be simpler? (If you want, mute and minimize)
  69. http://cur.lv/3bge - Retweet these adds to your followers on twitter and get paid!
  70. So that's a decent sample there. Another way to make bitcoins is to play games that offer bitcoins as
  71. prizes. Below, you'll find a sampling of such games.
  72. http://cur.lv/3bgf - This is kind of a minesweeper clone. It is pretty easy to understand.
  73. http://cur.lv/3bgg - A small casino-style site which pays in bitcoins!
  74. http://cur.lv/3bgj - Like to play the lottery? Well here you go. 0.25BTC per ticket.
  75. http://cur.lv/3bgm - Play darts, with a bet on the line.
  76. http://cur.lv/3bgr - You can also get paid to bookmark quality sites!
  77. Another item to consider is that if you happen to have a skill that you can do over the internet
  78. (and you do... There's someone on here offering e-hugs ffs), then you might consider going
  79. to these sites and exchanging your services for bitcoins... You know, like any other job :p
  80. http://cur.lv/3bgx - Work for bitcoins
  81. http://cur.lv/3bh0 - Same
  82. http://cur.lv/3bh2 - Same
  83. http://cur.lv/3bh4 - Same
  84. http://cur.lv/3bhd - Same
  85. http://cur.lv/3bhh - Answer questions for bitcoins
  86. And of course you can apparently strip on reddit for bitcoins... No link required.
  87. You also might consider posting informative pastes to a site like bitbin.it and linking to it for a small
  88. referral bonus. That, by the way, makes 25 ways to make bitcoins without mining or buying them.
