In 2006, Tammy Barkley and Oscar John Cahill started the MetEast Club as a way to provide sports-related information to Queenslandian schools. It has now grown into an extensive network with over 16,000 members and 1200 schools around the state. MetEast prides itself on providing dependable sports reports, a reputation it credits to its diligence, honesty, and meticulous planning. Under the guidance of a dedicated group of coaches, which includes national champions, the club actively promotes Queensland's sports culture by nurturing young talent. Representing the love of sports in Queensland and commemorating the region's accomplishments in sports, MetEast acts as a gentle guide for both seasoned competitors and die-hard supporters.
